Thanks to Nigella’s Feast for this one. I’d been meaning to make this for a while and decided over the Bonfire night weekend to give it a go. A very light sponge, rich in spices and flavour, perfect for the cold autumn nights.

Cinnamon rolls are one of my favourite pastries to eat. I thought it was about time I learnt how to make them. I found a recipe that uses a quicker way to make the dough for the rolls, a type of crossiant dough with, lots of butter. You just need to allow the dough to rest overnight before hand. Easy to make and delicious to eat. Our friends who were visiting for the weekend both left with one for work on Monday after eating them for breakfast and lunch the previous day!
Its raining and miserable, again! What better way to spend an afternoon than in the kitchen cooking. A moist honey cake topped with some kitsch bees made from sugar coated chocolates dipped in chocolate. Bound to put a smile on anyones face!
After an afternoon picking blackberries it was time to make some yummy cupcakes! Cupcakes made with blackberries in the batter and blackberry juice in the butter cream frosting.
I fancied baking some brownies. However with no chocolate in the cupboard I found a recipe without. These have cocoa only and coconut for extra flavour. Yum!
